Six­month QCA favored the NIRx with a significantly larger MLD and lower diameter stenosis (slide 15, Figure 1). 35 mm in the NIRx group (slide 16). The Taxus I trial confirmed the safety and efficacy of the paclitaxel­eluting NIRx stent in the treatment of short, discrete de novo lesions (slide 17).
